Jesse Sahlani’s Tudor Revival Estate project, set to be built in Rosedale, is an invitingly grand and luxurious estate that is designed for entertaining friends, family, and business partners. The exterior is clad with smooth-faced Egyptian Limestone panels, with unique limestone details that line the windows and doors of the home. The tall proportions of the grand chimneys pay homage to the historical characteristics of this timeless design style alongside leaded glass windows and natural slate roof. Without losing the roots of this style, Jesse was able to strategically place each room and large window feature in a way that allows every room to harness as much natural light as possible based on the time of highest use throughout the day. This approach significantly improves the quality of the interior spaces for the homeowners in ways that cannot be replicated through the use of fancy finishes, though this home has no shortage of those.
Inside, the luxurious design continues to impress as the same limestone cladding the exterior is brought inside the home, offering a sense of grandeur when paired with the double staircases that lead to the second floor. In true entertaining fashion, a grand piano and gathering space in the front foyer is perfect for cocktail hour in advance of dinners or larger gatherings. The entertaining kitchen and prep kitchens allow for entertaining friends and family without interruption, while the dining room and full-height living room offer seating for up to 30 guests.
After dinner guests can continue socializing in the uniquely opulent and design-forward sun room featuring a glass roof, and large windows set between the same limestone that graces the exterior and foyer. A center mature bonsai tree in this space offers a connection to nature while providing a lushness that only a feature like this can offer. The basement is one of Jesse’s favorite features, as the garages all have access to the supercar lounge and wellness center. The glass enclosure around the cars creates a unique air-tight space for a cigar lounge, while a steam sauna, dry sauna, full gym, and a theater room offer amenities to this family as well as their guests that surpass those offered by even the most exclusive social club.
The exterior landscape design features a semi-circle driveway to manage traffic during large gatherings, and symmetrically placed beach trees line the driveway that is enclosed by limestone-clad security walls. Within the gardens, we have designed a pool, a cabana bar, and a covered eating area, an exterior heated space that is perfect for three seasons of use featuring a hot tub, a cold plunge, an exterior dry sauna, and radiant heaters.
We will be releasing additional exterior views along with interior design details of this stunningly finished home in the coming weeks!
