KENSINGTON ROW HOUSE

KENSINGTON ROW HOUSE

Style: Victorian
Square Footage: 2,700
Location: Toronto, Ontario

This row-house will be underpinned to create a basement height of 10ft, a third story addition and terrace, and a floor layout that perfectly utilizes the narrow dimensions of the home. Hydronic in-floor heating paired with automated lighting, heating and A/C, cameras, and alarms will afford the owners of this luxury build a high level of comfort in a unmatchably charming and historic area.
The largest challenge when completing a project of this nature is maintaining the historic value of the area. We remedied this by fully restoring the front face of the home to its original glory while transforming the rear face and interior into a modern oasis using a master suite with a modern clerestory addition and rooftop patio as the main architectural feature.
